Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how New Creation Labs LLC (“Tag,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Tag mobile application, the website at tagur.it, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account or using Tag, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account & profile: phone number (for sign-in), username, display name / full name, birthday, profile photo, and onboarding preferences.
- User content: photos you capture or upload as Tags, captions or metadata associated with those photos (if any), and friend / invite activity.
- Communications: messages you send us (support email) and information you include in them.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Location: with your permission, approximate or precise location when you place a Tag so it can appear on the map.
- Device & usage: device type, OS version, app version, crash / diagnostic logs, and basic interaction data needed to operate and improve the Service.
- Notifications: push notification tokens and your notification preference settings (for example chain invites, pass reminders, streak alerts).
2.3 Information from your contacts (optional)
If you grant contacts permission, we may access phone numbers or hashes from your address book solely to help you find friends already on Tag and send invites. We do not sell your contacts.
2.4 Information from service providers
We use third-party infrastructure (for example authentication / SMS verification, cloud database and file storage, hosting, and analytics or crash reporting if enabled). Those providers may process limited personal data on our behalf under their own terms and our instructions.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Create and secure your account (including phone OTP sign-in);
- Operate Tag features: friendships, chains, photo posts, map pins, recaps, and sharing;
- Show your profile and Tags to other users according to product rules (friends / world);
- Send optional push notifications you enable;
- Prevent abuse, enforce our Terms, and protect the Service;
- Respond to support requests and communicate about the Service;
- Comply with law and respond to lawful requests.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. How we share information
We may share information in these ways:
- With other users: your username, display name, profile photo, Tags, map locations tied to Tags, and related chain activity may be visible to friends or (where applicable) world-chain participants.
- Service providers: vendors that host data, send SMS / verification codes, store media, or help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of the data.
- Legal & safety: when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of users or Tag.
- Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may transfer as part of that transaction subject to appropriate protections.
5. Your choices & controls
- Permissions: you can revoke camera, location, contacts, photos, or notification access in your device Settings. Some features will not work without those permissions.
- Profile edits: you can update display name, username, and photo in the app.
- Account deletion: Settings → Delete Account removes your account and associated profile data from our primary systems. Some residual copies may remain briefly in backups or logs until they rotate, and we may retain limited information when legally required.
- Access / correction: email hello@tagur.it to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, subject to verification and applicable law.
6. Data retention
We retain account and content data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After deletion, we delete or de-identify personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, or dispute resolution purposes.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls, and authenticated APIs) to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a unique username and protect access to your phone.
8. Children’s privacy
Tag is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact hello@tagur.it and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. International users
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws than your home country.
10. Region-specific rights
Depending on where you live (for example certain U.S. states or the EEA/UK), you may have rights to access, delete, correct, or obtain a copy of your personal data, or to object to / restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@tagur.it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
11. Third-party links & services
The Service may link to third-party sites or apps (for example the App Store). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
